Position Overview:

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer – Craft Sets with extensive experience engaging retail customers in the US market. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who has successfully collaborated with major retailers like TARGET, Dollar General, and others. As the Product Designer – Craft Sets, you’ll play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and creating craft sets that spark joy and encourage artistic expression.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and objectives for craft set products.

Utilize your retail customer experience to tailor designs that resonate with US consumers and meet the standards of major retailers such as TARGET and Dollar General.

Conceptualize and develop creative designs for a wide range of craft sets, including but not limited to DIY kits, art supplies, and crafting accessories.

Curate a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your expertise in crafting engaging and innovative craft sets that appeal to various demographics.

Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to identify emerging themes and design opportunities in the craft set industry.

Create detailed product mock-ups and prototypes to showcase design concepts and features, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to prototype and produce craft sets efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Designer, with a focus on craft sets or related consumer goods.

Strong background in engaging with retail customers in the US market, particularly with major retailers like TARGET, Dollar General, etc.

Impressive portfolio showcasing craft set designs and products tailored for various age groups and skill levels.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino).

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for design, creativity, and staying abreast of industry trends in crafting and DIY projects.
