Position Overview:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Product Developer – Seasonal Decoration to contribute to our dynamic team. As the Product Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing seasonal decoration concepts, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. Your contributions will be essential in bringing festive designs to life and delighting our customers.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop seasonal decoration concepts, aligning with current trends and customer preferences.

Utilize 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or Rhino to visualize and refine seasonal decoration designs, ensuring feasibility and effectiveness.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials and production methods, optimizing for quality and cost-effectiveness.

Incorporate advanced features and functionalities into seasonal decoration designs as appropriate, enhancing their appeal and usability.

Conduct thorough testing and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including ASTM and CPSC requirements, throughout the development process.

Provide fully developed product files with specifications to QTOP engineering and manufacturing teams, facilitating smooth production processes.

Develop detailed product specifications and prototypes to communicate design concepts and features effectively to internal teams and external partners.

Assist in overseeing the development process from concept to production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain awareness of industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience (2+ years) in product development, preferably in seasonal decoration or related consumer goods.

Familiarity with engaging retail customers in the US market, particularly with major retailers like TARGET, Dollar General, etc.

Experience working with overseas factories is preferred.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for seasonal decoration products.

Knowledge of safety regulations and standards for consumer products, including ASTM and CPSC requirements.

Detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Passion for design, creativity, and staying abreast of industry trends.
