Position Overview:

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer with extensive experience engaging retail customers in the US market. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who has successfully collaborated with major retailers like TARGET, Dollar General, and others. As the Product Designer – Seasonal Decoration, you’ll play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and creating seasonal decor designs that resonate with customers and align with retail partner requirements.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and objectives for seasonal decoration products.

Utilize your retail customer experience to tailor designs that appeal to US consumers and meet the standards of major retailers such as TARGET and Dollar General.

Conceptualize and develop creative designs for a wide range of seasonal decor products, including but not limited to ornaments, figurines, wreaths, garlands, and more.

Curate a comprehensive portfolio of seasonal decor and products, showcasing your expertise in capturing the essence of various holidays and occasions.

Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to identify emerging themes and design opportunities in the seasonal decoration industry.

Create detailed product mock-ups and prototypes to showcase design concepts and features, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to prototype and produce seasonal decoration products efficiently and cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Designer, with a focus on seasonal decoration or related consumer goods.

Strong background in engaging with retail customers in the US market, particularly with major retailers like TARGET, Dollar General, etc.

Impressive portfolio showcasing seasonal decor designs and products tailored for various holidays and occasions.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino).

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for design, creativity, and staying abreast of industry trends in seasonal decoration and holiday celebrations.
